Lease VS BUY
3 Year Lease
This is Unified's most common lease, along with the most common lease term in the world. 3 years keeps your equipment under most full warranties and ensures the resale value is the best as possible. If at maturity, it makes sense to keep the equipment due to mileage, lack of replacements, or any other reason, UFS will extend your lease for the best option at that time. Available for virtually any and all vehicles and equipment.
5 Year with $1 Buyout
This is the most common municipal lease purchase agreement. This lease is preferred for equipment with minimal resale value (e.g. various smaller lawn equipment), miscellaneous equipment (e.g. radio equipment, firearms, etc.), or for used equipment. Available for virtually any and all vehicles and equipment.
5 to 7 Year Lease
Used frequently for heavy equipment such as semi-truck chassis, haul trucks, vacuum trucks, bucket trucks, dozers and excavators. May be used for ambulances and fire apparatus.
10 to 15 year
Applicable for only the largest of equipment such as fire engines, ladder trucks, digger derricks, and other specialty equipment. Ten year can be with either a $1 buyout or a balloon payment/residual. It can convert to a 15 year by extending for an additional five years at maturity.

No surprises at lease maturity. Each lease has a stated payoff amount for every year of the lease. There are no set penalties for excess mileage or dents and dings.
No bundled or mandated maintenance programs. Manage your oil changes and routine service, just as though you own the vehicle. If you want a prepaid maintenance program, we're happy to provide.
All equipment, upfit, and accessories come with full factory warranties. No more paying for expensive engines, transmission, or other components.
At or before lease maturity, Unified will sell your equipment with all of the profit going back to the lessee!
